She is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for her work on NetflixŌĆÖs record-breaking hit, Squid Game. Not only that, she showed that she knows how to combine classic Hollywood glamour with a meaningful nod to her Korean heritage with her very special hair accessory. The actress wore her dark hair in a long braid that was decorated with a scarf from the same material as her gown to make it look like a Daeng gi, a traditional Korean hair ribbon. Celebrity hairstylist Jenny Cho, who created the look, explained that what she wore for the SAG Awards event is inspired by a South Korean hair tie and attire called Daeng gi and Han Bok and that it was a sincere honor to present her work.
