On Oct. 15, the Supreme Court announced that they upheld the original ruling that sentenced Choi, who was indicted for filming, injuring, and blackmail, to one year in prison on charges under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act. Most of the charges, including property damage, injury, blackmail, and coercion, were admitted, but the charges of illegal filming were found innocent as in the first and second trials. Choi has been on trial for allegedly bruising Goo HaraŌĆÖs arms and legs and threatening to ŌĆ£distribute sex videosŌĆØ during a fight in September 2018.
