On the 31st, the 30th SMA was held at Jamsil Gymnastics Stadium, Seoul. It was held without any audience due to the COVID-19 situation. The honorable grand prize went to BTS on this day. The main prize was won by TWICE, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, SEVENTEEN, TXT, IZ*ONE, ATEEZ, BTS, NUŌĆÖEST, OH MY GIRL, NCT127, and MONSTA X. On this day, the R&B Hip-hop award went to Jessi, whilst the OST award went to actor Cho Jung Seok. Best Performance Award was jointly won by (G)I-DLE and THE BOYZ. This yearŌĆÖs Discovery Award went to ITZY. The winner of the Band Award Leenalchi said that ŌĆ£2020 was a meaningful and unforgettable year for [them].ŌĆØ The Rookie of the Year was taken by TREASURE, aespa, and ENHYPEN. Each of the three teams thanked their respective agencies and fans as they expressed future aspirations.
