This makes the act the first artist/group to ever achieve the feat in the history of YouTube. WhatŌĆÖs more impressive is that the channel reached the milestone in just 5 years and 5 months since it was opened on June 28th, 2016.
Previously, BLACKPINK showed off their global presence by becoming the first non-English speaking artist to rank in the Top 5 channels with most YouTube subscribers in July 2020. Since then, the quartet has beat out Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Marshmello, and Justin Bieber, becoming the worldŌĆÖs No. 1 artist on YouTube. BLACKPINK achieved remarkable growth by securing millions of subscribers every time they release a new song.
